Comfort Inn – Saffron Kiran, a brand by Choice Hotels International recently opened in Faridabad, Haryana. The brand is scheduled to open another Comfort Inn hotel in Rajkot by January 2012. It is primarily a franchise company; however, in India the brand also offers management services for selective hotels.
Vilas Pawar, CEO, Choice Hotels India said, “Additionally, we are also introducing our limited service brand ‘Sleep Inn’ by mid of 2012 and are in advance talks with other investors for introducing additional hotel brands like Cambria within our portfolio. In next 4-5 years we would like to see our hotel presence double within India”.
The brand is looking at an expansion in tier I, II and III cities and into religious cities too. Choice Hotels is present in all the major metro cities in India and the hotels range from limited service, mid scale, upscale to full service hotels.
Choice Hotels India operates 26 hotels across 20 destinations. The brand has its presence in all the business and leisure cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bathinda, Chennai, Chiplun, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and many others.
