Nando's, the Portugese flame-grilled Peri-Peri chicken restaurant opens in Ludhiana. Looking at the tremendous response and demand from Punjab region, Nando's shall be in Jalandhar in the current financial year.
Nando's entered India in 2010 with its first restaurant in Chandigarh followed by another one in Bengaluru. On the expansion Vikrant Chowgule, Managing Director of Indage Group (the master franchisees for Nando’s India), said: "This is the third restaurant in India and second in this region. One more restaurant is scheduled to be opened in Bengaluru, and in the current year, Nando's would have presence in Chennai and New Delhi too.”
