Nando's, the international chain of casual dining restaurants is all set to open its eighth outlet in India. The outlet will be opened in Gurgaon by end of this month. Originated in South Africa, Nando’s was set up in 1987. Currently, the brand has 980 restaurants worldwide.
Nando’s forayed into India with Indage Group as the master franchisee. In India, Nando’s operates seven restaurants in New Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Chennai respectively. The core offering at the restaurant is the specialty flame grilled Peri-Peri chicken, followed by a selection of salads, appetizers, burgers and wraps. Nando’s also offers great choice for vegetarians, which includes salads, burgers and wraps to choose from.
Nando’s plans to expand across the globe and has a rigorous expansion plan for the Indian market with Nando’s territorial franchisee, Janpath Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. Janpath Restaurants has planned to open four units by end of 2013 and 15 across Delhi NCR in the next four years.
