Suvankar Sen is the Whole-Time Director, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Senco Gold, bringing nearly two decades of deep expertise in the jewellery industry. A graduate in Economics (Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IMT Ghaziabad, Suvankar has been associated with the company since 2005, shaping its strategic vision and driving sustained growth.
Role & Responsibilities
Under his leadership, Senco Gold achieved a landmark milestone with its successful listing on the NSE and BSE in July 2023, while the company’s turnover reached ₹4,000 crore in FY2023, reflecting strong execution and market confidence.
Beyond corporate growth, Suvankar actively contributes to the jewellery sector as a committee member of the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the ICC Gems and Jewellery Panel, and the ASSOCHAM Bullion and Jewellery Council. He also serves on the boards of several group and associate companies. His leadership is defined by strategic clarity, robust governance, and a commitment to building a globally respected jewellery brand that inspires trust, quality, and excellence.
