Vilas Pawar is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 35 years of leadership experience across some of the world’s most respected hotel and restaurant brands. A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, he has built a distinguished career marked by operational excellence, brand building, and successful market expansion. His leadership journey spans senior roles with marquee organizations such as Taj Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Radisson Hotels, Edenpark Hotels, and TGI Fridays, giving him deep expertise in hotel operations and franchising models.
Role & Responsibilities
Before joining Lemon Tree Hotels, Vilas served as Director and Chief Executive Officer of Choice Hotels International for South Asia, where he scaled operations across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
Currently, as CEO of the Managed & Franchise Division at Lemon Tree Hotels, he leads strategic expansion, strengthens owner partnerships, and ensures brand consistency across the portfolio, supporting the group’s long-term growth and market leadership.
