Ajay Arora, Managing Director of D’Decor Home Fabrics Pvt. Ltd., is a visionary leader who has transformed a family-run enterprise into one of the world’s largest furnishing fabric manufacturers. Under his leadership, D’Decor (formerly Dicitex Industries) has emerged as a global leader in curtains and upholstery fabrics, exporting to over 65 countries through three advanced manufacturing facilities and an extensive international partner network.
Education & Milestones
Since 1998, Ajay has scaled the business from USD 5 million to over USD 350 million in revenue by 2024. Guided by the brand philosophy “Live Beautiful,”D’Decor offers a comprehensive portfolio across curtains, upholstery, bedding, made-ups, and wallpaper, introducing over 20,000 SKUs annually in collaboration with leading European design studios. In 2023, he spearheaded the launch of FabriCare, a high-performance fabric brand. Ajay has redefined India’s home textile industry through innovation in distribution, supply chain excellence, and digital integration. An alumnus of Harvard Business School’s OPM program and a textile engineering graduate from VJTI, Mumbai, he also serves on global academic boards and actively supports education-focused philanthropy.
