Deepak Jain, popularly known as DJ, is a seasoned business leader with over 23 years of experience across the liquor, garment manufacturing, and intimate wear industries. A Chartered Accountant and alumnus of IIM Bangalore, DJ combines financial acumen with strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of consumer-driven brand building. He began his career in the liquor industry with Shaw Wallace, UB Group, and Diageo India, gaining strong foundations in large-scale operations, brand management, and business growth. In 2014, he joined amanté as Chief Financial Officer, and his performance soon led him to the role of Chief Executive Officer, where he has since transformed the brand into a market leader.
Role & Responsibilities
Under DJ’s leadership, amanté has evolved from a lingerie brand into a comprehensive lifestyle destination for women, including sleepwear, activewear, shapewear, swimwear, athleisure, and comfort wear. His strategic initiatives have strengthened the brand’s market presence in India and Sri Lanka, achieving a remarkable CAGR of over 50% since he became CEO. DJ’s innovative mindset, collaborative leadership style, and willingness to take calculated risks have driven transformative marketing strategies, increased brand recall, and enhanced consumer loyalty. The brand’s philosophy — “fashion-first, comfort-led” — guides every collection, blending thoughtful craftsmanship, smart design, and dependable fit to empower modern women.
Vision for Omnichannel Growth and Consumer-Centric Innovation
Looking ahead to FY26 and beyond, DJ is focused on continued innovation, expanding the product portfolio, and strengthening omnichannel and digital strategies. A key pillar of growth is the expansion of amanté’s exclusive boutique network, with over 100 new boutiques planned across India to offer personalized, immersive experiences. The brand is also reinforcing digital engagement and expanding retail and e-commerce partnerships to enhance accessibility.
